Hi all. I was reading some wonderful and familiar scripture during the past week. It was in Genesis, of all places, concerning
the aftermath of the flood. Starting in Gen. 9, verse 12: And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make
between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13) I do set my bow in the cloud
and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth 14) And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over
the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15) And I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every
living creature of all flesh: and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Now, here is what the Holy Spirit showed me:
God promised he would never flood the earth again. But Revelation 12:15 says this: And the serpent (and
we all know who that is) And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman that he might cause her
to be carried away of the flood. (16) And the earth helped the woman and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood
which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (17) and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant
of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Two things about this have troubled me. One, the so called "gay pride" movement that some people are trying to legislate
and bring respectability to, in this country, and the fact it's centered, in earthquake prone California, in San Francisco,
but has spread like a disease worldwide (like a flood of immorality). God promised never to flood the earth. The Holy Spirit
showed me how Satan has taken the symbol of that promise, the rainbow, and made a mockery of the promise of God, by manipulating
men and women who are gay into using the rainbow as a symbol of diversity. This has always offended me that they use the rainbow,
and I don't hate homosexuals or any kind of sinners, but I never understood why their use of the rainbow bothered me until
the Lord showed me. Satan mocks the word of God in this and many other ways. But as I read Rev. 12:16 a sense of foreboding
settled down on my spirit-and I remembered all the fault lines out there in California, they are actually spread worldwide,
and everybody says the Big One is coming. I'm not trying to prophesy or anything-I would be afraid to, for that is not what
I'm called to do. But when you read the Bible, and you begin to understand-as Satan well knows, how God has to judge sin and
rebellion sooner or later, I am very concerned for our country.
Satan is using these poor deceived people, many of whom are so hardened by their sin, they actually deceive themselves,
to say "In your face GOD!" This is a lewd and obscene violation to the precious promises of God, worse than any form of rape
you can conceive and it's being perpetrated by the enemy of our souls, the devil. For there is no greater source of purity
to be found than the word of God. Praise the Lord he can not be violated and he will not be mocked. (Galatians 6:7) Be
not deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Satan WILL get what he's got coming.
Jesus Christ has a people that are in communion with him, that have got their eyes off this world, and it's temporary pleasures
and on him and things eternal. She is making herself ready to leave. She knows he is coming and this is not her home and she
is anxiously waiting for his arrival, while interceding in prayer for her lost loved ones. And Satan already has those who
are lost, those who are religious but have no salvation, for salvation is of the Lord, not man, it was the religious crowd
that stoned Paul and crucified Jesus. The only thing on Satan's mind is to try to defile the Bride of Christ, to steal her
away from the Lord. To so discourage her with a flood of filth that she will give up. That's what he's aiming for. Anyway
he can. He knows he can't tempt her into gross sin, he knows she shuns the works of the flesh and the carnal mind, she doesn't
listen to his lies, so he seeks to discourage her by flooding the world with all manner of filth. You can't even walk in a
grocery store much anymore without scantily clad females boldly on the front of magazines tempting men and making Christian
women with a sense of modesty either cringe for fear of their husbands thinking them inferior, unappealing by comparison,
or unattractive, and or shame. And Godly women would be horrified at the thought of "letting it all hang out for anyone
to see." Their heart has been won by their Lord, and they know the one thing he does NOT glory in is the flesh. Anything that
draws attention to the flesh is not approved of God. And then, you can't let your children stand there-in line at the
grocery store to pay for your food- and absorb this by looking because it will influence them at a young age that this
manner of baring flesh to the extreme is acceptable. Young males are incited, to lust, and not keep themselves pure. Articles
in these magazines are all about pleasure and sex and sensuality, or vainly focused on how to look your best, dress for success,
how to achieve-and the scripture is defied for we are not to seek self, but his kingdom, we are not to follow the lust of
the eyes. 1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love
of the Father is not in him. (16) for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride
of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. (17) and the world passeth away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth
the will of God abideth forever."
But then just as I began to feel depressed by all these thoughts, the Holy Spirit reminded me of what is written in Isaiah
59:19 SO SHALL THEY FEAR THE NAME OF THE LORD FROM THE WEST AND HIS GLORY FROM THE RISING
OF THE SUN. WHEN THE ENEMY SHALL COME IN LIKE A FLOOD, THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL LIFT UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM. (v. 20)
AND THE REDEEMER SHALL COME TO ZION AND UNTO THEM THAT TURN FROM TRANSGRESSION........Remember, the Lord sits
as King of the floods.............*(on top of the flood)!! And the word flood as used here means:
a stream (including the sea; especially the Nile, Euphrates, etc.); figuratively,
prosperity: - flood, river.
Enemy: (Strong's Hebrew) narrow; (as a noun) a tight place (usually figuratively, that is, trouble); (transitively) an opponent
(as crowding): - adversary, afflicted (-tion), anguish, close, distress, enemy, flint, foe, narrow, small, sorrow,
Lift up a Standard: A primitive root; to flit, that is, vanish
away (subside, escape; causatively chase, impel, deliver): - X abate, away, be displayed, (make to) flee (away, -ing), put
to flight, X hide, lift up a standard.
He will put the enemy to flight when he comes against you, if you stand
faithful and trust him. He's given us what we need to defend ourselves with-his word, and faith in it. And he said when we've
done all we can do, to just stand, and he will do the rest. He does what we can't.
The link I included is to an article about the gay pride parade and festival held last
week in our nation which I had not heard about until this morning when I was checking my email and read this article. If you
have kids, you need to understand they are infiltrating our school with this stuff, and we need to be prepared to war against
it-not with riots and railing-for that is not scripture. But in the secret closet of prayer...for
our weapons are not carnal but mighty through GOD.....2 Cor 10:4 and I am preaching to myself, here, folks.
My prayer life has lacked here lately, and I have repented and asked the Lord's forgiveness. We are needing to be praying
for one another and for his kingdom to come in us, and all around us, thus hastening the return of our Lord. This is not our
home, people. And we do not want to stay here. Nor are we leaving behind one hoof.....as Moses declared before Pharaoh in
Exodus... My prayer is may God bless us all with a deeper hunger for him, and his word, and communion with him, "for in thy
presence is the fullness of joy and at thy right hand, are pleasures forevermore.." Ps. 16:11
I couldn't have said it better.
Love you all!
