There is nothing too hard for him. He
has all we need. God put in Jesus everything we had need of. Don’t
give up. As long as there is life, there is hope. Remember, Jesus said a man ought to always pray and not faint (give up)
(Luke 18:1)
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to
faint; (Luke 18:1)
When it comes to praying for your lost loved ones, that can be one of the most difficult
things you can try to do. When it comes to praying for a lost soul, it is truly a warfare. The devil and powers of darkness
are very real, and he will fight to hold on to what he has-control of souls in darkness. But we have exceeding great
and precious promises in the Word of God that tell us he is a liar, and it is not hopeless.
Just as God brought the animals to the ark for Noah, He is able to bring our loved ones to
the Ark-which for us is Jesus Christ. Be sure you are in Christ yourself, and pray and trust Him to bring them to the Ark!
When we look around us with our eyes and ears, we see such devastation and misery and destruction in people's lives. So many
are hurting, and needy. So many are suffering.
In Genesis 1, if you will look at the Scriptures, you see it says "God created the heavens
and earth." Consider that we only reproduce what we are, and God never created anything void or empty or dark. In Him is no
darkness at all, the Word tells us. But something happened to reduce the creation to chaotic emptiness and darkness. This
is what happened to the human soul when Adam and Eve fell in the garden. But we see in Gen 1:3 the answer to it all. The Holy
Spirit hovered over that mess and the Word that was made flesh spoke the powerful and creative command: Let there be light!
He is well able to shine in to the darkness of the lost souls, into their lives. He is well able to rescue them, for He alone
has the key to their prison cells. They are in darkness and chains and do not know it. The devil seeks to hide the glorious
light of the Gospel from them.
He uses the failures of other Christians, the false teachers and apostasy in the world to
provoke suspicion and unbelief in the heart of the lost soul, effectively blinding them to truth. But Christ's power is without
limit. There is nothing impossible with Him. His hand is not short that it cannot reach down, and His ear is not deaf that
He can not hear the prayers we pray for them. He would not tell you to pray for them and then not hear and not save. Ultimately,
it is their decision, and sometimes people do refuse Him to their dying day. Tragically, I have seen this happen. Still, I
do not question Him on these things. I know He is able to save those lost souls we pray for. As long as there is life, there
is hope.
Pray for Your Lost
On prayer for our loved ones, we have wonderfully encouraging promises for why we should do so, and faint not.
Job 4:4 Thy words have upheld him that was falling,
and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
Psa 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver
and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Isa 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm
the feeble knees.
Isa 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be
opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath
seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring
forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Isa 65:23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring
forth for trouble; for they are the seed of
the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. Isa 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will
hear.
Jesus said Lift up your eyes and behold the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the
harvest. He wants us to love and care for the lost. We must ask him to break our hearts for the lost and give us a burden
for their souls. It pleases God to see his children seeking his kingdom, not that of the world. Seeking to add lost souls
to his kingdom, not seeking for self. If you dwell in the field, you will be out in the world but not OF the world, being
about your Father's business. And he will deliver you out of all your trials, and from the enemy of your soul. When God says
something, it has to happen. No one can change his word.
And he will seek and save the lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mic 4:10
Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail:
for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem
thee from the hand of thine enemies.
Gen 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Act 26:17
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Act 26:18
To
open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:18 is the one we can pray over our lost loved ones. That is how we bring the power of God into our prayers.
Pray his word, and his will. It’s not his will than any should perish.
2Pe 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but
is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Psa 147:15
He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
Psa 147:18
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
Psa 33:4
For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are
done in truth.
Psa 33:6
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the
breath of his mouth.
When God sends his word, he can send it swiftly. It can melt the hardest of hearts. Did not John the Baptist tell the Pharisees
God was able to raise up children unto Abraham of these stones? (Mt. 3:9).
And what stony heart can God not deal with?
Psa 33:9
For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Psa 33:11
The counsel of the LORD standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Eze 36:26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and
I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and
ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Jer 23:29
Is
not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
If his word is like a fire, can it not melt the hardest heart? He said there was nothing impossible or too hard for
him.
Psa 107:20
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
2Pe 3:7
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Job 26:7
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Job 26:8
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under
them.
Job 26:9
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
Job 26:10
He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an
end.
Job 26:11
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
Job 26:12
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through
the proud.
Job 26:13
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked
serpent.
Job 26:14
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Consider the power of God described in Job. If his word is strong enough to hold this planet in place in space on nothing,
who’s heart can stand against his word? Hallelujah!
Mat 8:16
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils:
and he cast out the spirits with his word, and
healed all that were sick:
Luk 4:32
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
Mat 3:9
And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise
up children unto Abraham.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is
a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Isa 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto
me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Remember when God sends his word, it HAS to accomplish HIS PURPOSES.
Isa 50:2
Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called,
was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold,
at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
Isa 59:1
Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear
heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 65:23
They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring
with them.
Isa 65:24
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they
are yet speaking, I will hear.
Zec 4:6
Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power,
but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
1Pe 1:25
But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel
is preached unto you.
Act 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and
thy house.
Jer 15:16
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and
rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Heb 6:17
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability
of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Heb 6:18
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to
lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Heb 6:19
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Jer 1:12
Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to
perform it.
Isa 39:8
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my
days.
2Pe 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus
our Lord,
2Pe 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these
ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
He gave us his word, so we can be partakers of his divine nature. He wants us at peace and rest and we can be knowing his
word is working in the lives of our lost loved ones and that he can bring them in. And that he will. Faith is not knowing
God can, but that he will.
Isa 39:8
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my
days.
Isa 66:8
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made
to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation
be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Isa 66:9
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall
I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
If you are interceding in prayer for your lost loved ones, concerned for their souls, the word says as soon as Zion travailed,
she brought forth. She brought forth her children to the Lord. And he said, shall I cause to bring forth and shut the womb?
No, he will open the door, he will bring them in! If we care enough to travail in prayer, interceding, because we are seeking
to add to the kingdom of God, the souls his precious Son died for, yes, he will honor his word and our faith. He gave us both.
And we can also ask the Lord to create that burden for the lost in us, for it is not naturally in us to be this concerned
for others, but God said ask and ye shall receive. Ask him to create that burden in your heart, to help you see those around
you through his eyes. And if you don’t know how to pray for them, ask the Holy Ghost to guide your prayer, to teach
you how. He will.

and stretched out arm, and there is nothing
too hard for thee:

impossible with

their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
