Our Prayers, Life Preservers of the Lost
There is hope
for those we think are beyond reaching, our brothers, or sisters, moms and
dads, kids, friends, neighbors, family. We must
keep them covered in prayer. Without that covering they are dangerously vulnerable to the powers of darkness and the destruction
that is so prevalent in today’s world. We must believe, and keep praying. No matter how we feel, no matter what we think,
or what the devil says, don’t quit praying for your lost. God sent his word out and he commanded and it stood
fast. He hung this very planet on NOTHING . Job said it this way:
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon
nothing.
Doesn't the word say he can do exceeding, abundantly, above all that we could
ask or think? (Eph 3:20). I was reading the Scriptures in the Gospel about the times Jesus was met by those possessed and
with his word only, cast the unclean spirits out. No wonder Satan attacks our faith so viciously. And that must be
part of the reason why God rewards faith so quickly sometimes in our lives. I just want to see some souls saved....
Time is so short. I have asked God , oh, I asked the Holy Ghost to help me live with a constant awareness of an URGENT sense
of the reality of the soon coming of the Lord, and imagine those I love in light of that. To see them and others through the
eyes of God, not myself. Things look so different then, when you look at things through eyes that are focused on eternity,
not the here and now which is quickly passing away. I just want to see! What is today, this life in comparison with an unfathomable
eternity? One of my favorite Scriptures when I pray, is this:
Joh 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not
unto thee, that, if
thou wouldest believe, thou
shouldest see the glory
of God?
When Jesus said this to Martha, then he resurrected Lazarus, her dead brother-who'd
been dead 4 days. We need to get tired of the devil thinking he can walk all over us, and accuse us, and not listen to his
lying filthy mouth. Get sick of it. God give us the backbone to tell the devil to shut up. I'm going to love my brethren,
ask the Lord who I need to pray for and then believe He's going to do something about it! I don't want to be part of this
ultra spoiled generation that is so pampered they have no concept of suffering or sacrifice for the sake of others-and I have
been so guilty of this!
I'm so hungry to see the glory, the power of God moving, delivering people. I
have had to repent over a lackluster prayer life at times, when it was so hard to pray I didn't try as I should. God is helping
me with this. He's increasing my faith through this difficult time. And teaching me what it means to be comforted by Him,
and his word. I want to see us all being vessels glorifying our God and giving the enemy a lot more than just heartburn! And
we can do it. Let us pray God would make us one, and help us. His resources are unlimited, and who are our lost loved ones
to resist surrendering to such a Mighty God who can draw with such magnificent love? The more I know him, the more he takes
my breath away.
I was reading in Ezekiel 36:26 where he said he would give them a new
heart, not made out of stone, and he'd place his spirit in them, and they would walk in his ways. He told the Pharisees of
the stones he could raise up children to Abraham. Well, he can take stony hearts and take the blindness the enemy put there
away, and draw with such love our loved ones won't be able to say no. God is already busy working.
2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be
with you all. Amen.
Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
There is nothing too hard for him. He has all we need. God put in Jesus everything
we had need of. Don’t give up. As long as there is life, there is hope.
